![]() I know their CDJ3000 supports Djay natively, but I typically use NXS2 or an XDJ-XZ so doesn't make sense to upgrade. Currently just beginner offers from Reloop and Pioneer. I'd be ready to dump my Pioneer gear (along with Rekordbox) if only there were high end controllers that natively support this. Things have slowly evolved in the 20 years, but this is a huge leap forward. I've been DJ'ing for 20+ years, starting from Vinyl (1200s) and then moved through Numark gear, and Traktor, eventually settling on Pioneer controllers and CDJs for the past decade. Meanwhile I still have to run Rekordbox in emulation mode on my M2 Mac. Also makes me mad that a company as big as PioneerDJ can have such crappy software where this tiny company out of Germany can use native Apple silicon and the neural engine to advance DJ'ing. Pioneer seems to add maybe one or two effects every 5 years to their mixers (helix being the last one) but some of things are really impressive. That, and the effects engine is next level. ![]() This thing runs on my freekin' phone (Iphone 14PRo) and the stems and waveform analysis takes less than a second. Rekordbox comes to a halt (even on a high spec computer) when you add things like DVS and Stems. It is mindblowing that it can run so efficiently on my phone or Macbook. I watched a Laidback Luke video about him switching to Djay so decided to download both the iOS and Mac apps. I know this crops up every now and then, but holy shitballs, Djay is amazing.
